Visit of one of the most important tea factories of the island at Bois Chéri. From the coconut-flavoured tea to the vanilla one, experience this unique tropical taste and learn more about the different steps to process tea leaves. Drive along the Plaine Champagne road and stop at Grand Bassin, a sacred lake for the Hindus. The Black River Gorges overlook the west coast. Its historical monuments are a witness of its past splendour whereas its economic development can be seen in the activities around the harbour.
